Dear Square Enix! Make the game harder, not easier!

I'm not being an elitist, but I don't want it to turn into every other MMO on the market where the people complaining about an instance being too hard for them gets more attention than those who are loving the content provided.

I would rather hope developers don't make balance decisions solely on people complaining on forums. Honestly, I don't think they do, not in general.

Sure, complaints might make them take another look at a given area, but any sensible developer should have data logged that would show them how difficult the content really is for the community - how many times attempted, how many times failed, how many deaths occurred, etc.

The question, I guess, is whether these particular developers are sensible; well, I'm happy enough with the direction they've taken things so far, so I can't say I'm too concerned. Admittedly, I'm also just looking to have fun, not be a super hardcore "FFXIV is my life" sort of player.

IF they nerf anything I will plain out quit this game it far to easy for me plain and simple. It common sense you see something in the ground move I don't understand how players die to titan. Maybe it because im so young I have quicker reflects then the "Casual" players.

This game should be harder. I was actually suprised that I hit 25 in less than a week, considering I used 3 months of grinding in WoW to reach level 18. Hahaha. I didn't know better. First time I played MMO and I didn't do my research before playing. I didn't even know quests excisted before after I joined a guild. Best guild ever. Kind and experienced players.

Anyway, this game should be harder. It is way to easy. That is coming from me, and I don't pay much attention to anything else than what I should do in dungeons as a damage dealer.

I personally hope nerfs NEVER happen here. Not like Blizzard where they give in to noobs to maintain subscriptions.

This game needs subs more than most other MMOs because of how in the red they are. If you don't think they'll cater to the bigger populace. You're insane. Nerfs will happen if it means more subs.

just take out these caps on tomes and what not, and make the game harder. start the weeding process!

I like the current difficulty level and don't think anything needs to be nerfed. Some fights / dungeons are easy / semi-easy and some are tougher which is nice.

Something I would like to change in the encounters to come is the amount of instant-death abilities. Yes, I know, we should learn to move and all that but come on... there must be other ways of making an encounter hard other than "if you get hit by this it's a wipe".

Thats how it was in the old mmos and thats how it should be. Even if you cant play enough as a 100% hardcore , you can still obtain some items over time by joining instances.
A person that plays 40+ hours aweek more then like me, Should get better gear. And I shouldnt get loot just because I pay the same amount has him. I need to earn that loot!

I realy hope SE will point the arrow back towards the old EQ/AO/UO/DAOC systems. Even tho they will lose alot of subs, you will get a less whiny playerbase that Loves the game.
