Crouching Hacker, Hidden Gold-Seller... They're glitching to hide.

I found this guy ( http://i.imgur.com/sVdPYeQ.jpg ) hidding some how by mining. There were 4 there until I got up close then they disappeared or bailed. I got a picture of this one though.

Why isnt there any sort of spam mute or report function? Putting in a Report option will get rid of a lot of these along with a mute for spammers. Something like each mute will cause the next to be longer until the gold sellers build up enough mutes to silence their irritating screaming for a day.

They are actually using Stealth skill and then just teleport to the next mining node. This NEEDS to get SE's attention

This seems to be becoming more and more prevalent with both mining and botany. Between these teleport hackers and the RMT sellers there won't be an economy left if this is left much longer at all.

There is a report function, you have to go through the customer support and report cheating. And the only thing you can do to mute the spammers is doing a blacklist. I just click their name to send a tell and then change the /tell name to /blist add "name", you do have to have the quotation marks on it and make sure there are no improper spaces. I do hope they add a right click spam function some time or their filters start working a bit better. At least they have about a 1000 accounts banned now.

And has been mentioned, there is a stealth included with the gathering professions to help people hide from monsters for those that may want to craft instead of have a high enough combat class. I have heard about the teleporting thing and not sure if that is a skill or a true hack as I have not gotten a harvesting class that high as of yet.

If i had my way..

Id let the community have a bit of fun. Ban the buggers from using chat and in game PM system ...

then as they are found flag the toon for in game pvp and force the highest level of agro on that account so every monster/ bug/plant squirrel etc etc...wants a piece of them. they can't hide in cities because they have some " gold seller pvp shame flag over their head and the community will kill them on site and they can hide outside the cities because they get swarmed by creatures AND community.

Ya im evil but its actually a doable idea and not far fetched..and imagine the press SE would get doing this. People would buy the game just to have a chance to grief the griefers..
