Thanks for the useful information - specially for someone that mains Summoner and plays Scholar when needed( and yes I DO revive dead members as SMN during raids - you can't imagine how many battles were saved because of that...)
I usually use a lot of Adloquium during fights to "overheal" with shields while patching up minor wounds. If the wounds aren't closed, I manually toss a quick embrace.
Usually I'll never let my fairy heal on her own (sometimes she saves my own live when I'm too busy healing the others xD) - while I start my cast to heal one member I can quickly target the next wounded party member and hit embrace. Really loving the split healing method. I mean combined, Scholars can heal for a whooping 700 potency single target heals with the cost of one Physick!
But lately I've been using Physick less and less because you get quite a lot of mp later on to cast Adloquium really often (on top of that, I compensate the high cost with the free embrace heals x))
Agreed that Lustrate is amazing on tanks, specially warriors - with 3 Aetherflow stacks you can patch up 60% HP again in a very short time WHILE you can run too.
As for the Arcanist spells, most of those are only used for their additional effect - Miasma/Miasmara is awesome if the enemies heal, Shadow Flare is basically a mini Slowga(= reduces damage received) and Eye for an Eye is just another great damage reduction buff which is especially useful when your tank pulled too many monsters at once lol. Virus isn't a DoT as it only reduces 4 stats for a short time (try this on Tumult to see the difference!)
Rouse sits on a 60sec cooldown at least at level 50+ so it's always nice to cast it once it is up - you can spam empowered embrace for 0mp.
Surecast is great for casting long spells on attacks like the reckoning blast at Garuda - but fails when you are paralyzed though (like in ADS)
As for Eos vs. Selene - I usually just prefer Selene during trash mobs and not too extreme boss fights. Using Eos on bosses that just need extra healing power and extremely tough fights where survival is top priority)
