Good read, thanks!

It's probably because you're moving around during the battlefield and you have your fairy on follow. The fairy will not cast anything when it's moving around. That's why I usually place the fairy at the tank and away from AoE.
I also urge all SCH to take their time to level up THM and get swiftcast, it helps out so much in primal fights and instances when other people mess up.
I always noticed my fairy would just stop moving and heal someone instantly even when Im moving, but I think if you get out of a certain range, she will catch up to you first before she continues healing, so that could be it.It's probably because you're moving around during the battlefield and you have your fairy on follow. Placing correctly the fairy on some fights is really important (ie Garuda HM, just place her in the center, the aoe is easily dealt with and seems to be the only reliable way to have har heal the tank and everyone else during all phases)
This only happens if the arcanist "places" the fairy during the previous Ifrit fight and doesn't have her follow afterwards. The fairy has a good memory.***There is a bug with the AI where she will rarely fly off and aggro. I have only seen this to happen in HARD mode Ifrit, as soon as the barrier goes down she will immediately fly over to Ifrit and pull him, this is a bug.
This is what I thought, but I place her every time during Ifrit and she's only done it to me once (she went to do it again another time but I saw her freaking out in the barrier and started spamming heel), so I was just leaving it ambiguous until I/we know for sure what it is, although that does seem most likely. Either way it's there to be a warning to watch the fairy at the start, it's not a good feeling to wipe everyone at once and have people think you did it intentionally ):
Wow, thanks for this! I have read that if you have a Summoner in your party, they should be the one to raise since you will most likely be busy healing if someone has died (maybe something went wrong, a bad AOE or cone damage or something). Their pet and DOTs can continue doing damage while they take a moment to raise (and you can continue healing).
It is helpful if they would, but most of the time they don't, because they are DPS. The time it takes to say hey can you please raise, and then probably having to argue with them over why they should do it if they can (I've had to go through this a few times =_= ) its just better to do it yourself. Of course, before fights, by all means ask if they wouldnt mind raising if things get hairy, better to do so then, rather than mid battle.Wow, thanks for this! Can't you just max INT and then use clerics stance?
