I think you just dug up some dead guide :P Last update was a good 2 months ago. Not like this guide's exactly in-depth. (For starters: Rouse + Fey Illumination information is wrong)

I did, i thought the month was 9 when I as reading the latest pages last night. Thats what I get for posting at dawn
Tbh I am truly surprised no one mentioned this macro...or they did and I am not gonna read through 10 pages. First and foremost you should always micro manage your pet in any endgame fight.
Mouse Over / Target
/macroicon "Embrace" Pet
/pac "Embrace" <mo> Pet
/pac "Embrace" <t> Pet
Allows you to not click off your target (mob or party member) and have your pet heal a target just by hovering over them.
Selene Silence Focus Target
/macroicon "Silent Dusk" Pet
/pac "Silent Dusk" <f> Pet
Since you are going to micro now it helps to be capable of switch pets mid-fight so this should help...

Allows you to swap your hotbars for that pets skills just by hitting the summon pet button it makes along with setting them to Obey. SCH pets don't have attacks so they don't run off and agro the same when hitting Obey with a target like SMN pets.

Most importantly avoid embrace spam macros if you plan on micro managing your pet. There is a pet queue that builds as you instruct your pet to perform an array of functions. Using macros like these will essentially lock you out from being able to perform on the spot requests like having Selene silence Earthshock.
Also they don't benefit you in any way...the pets in obey after you instruct them to use embrace on a target they will continue the same logic and heal on their own for the remainder of combat using the hp % priorities. If you don't obey Selene will always use glow then light when it expires...regardless whats happening in the fight. Eos will blow aoe heals, magic resistance and healing buff as soon as the cooldown is available.

I was looking for a specific macro, I'm not the big macro user and the only macro I use is when you summon a certain fairy it places her skills on your hotbar.
I'm looking for a macro that makes Eos/Selen Embrace the tank while I target the boss. In T9 when there is nothing specific going on, my fairy healing seems more than enough. But I can't keep on switching targets between boss and tank. I want to keep the boss targeted (So I see all my dots lined up, in my focus target bar the dots aren't always lined up and i don't want to activate the "Show only detrimental effects you inflict") while I keep commanding Eos/Selene to heal the tank while I still target the boss.
I tried out
/micon Embrace pet eos
/pac embrace eos <tt>
But it didn't seem to work :s Did I miss something ?
Note, I play on ps3

I can't say anything about ps3, but personally I just made a macro where Eos uses embrace on a certain player (in my case, position 3 in the partylist, the OT). Depending on the situation you may need to re-organize the party list a bit, but I don't find it too much of an inconvenience.
I find it easier with a keyboard (and mouse). There is still a pet hotbar if you want to use it, and because I do a lot of things with my mouse anyway I find it very easy to control the pet this way.I wish we could control the fairies without being in obey mode too :/ I'm not sure how easy it is to control fairies with a keyboard (I assume you're using keyboard), I don't macro a lot of their abilities because I play with a gamepad, and it's incredibly easy to switch back and forth to my pet bar so there isnt much need for me to macro a lot of the abilities.
I never tried healing with all-keyboard though.

You can use "/pac Embrace <f>" if the tank is your focus target.I was looking for a specific macro, I'm not the big macro user and the only macro I use is when you summon a certain fairy it places her skills on your hotbar.

Also your <tt> macro should work if the boss is targeting the tank - "/pac Embrace <tt>". This macro will work for both Selene and Eos, you don't need to add 'eos'.

I got it to work!!! Seems like I missed something earlier. And thanks alot for the tip with not having to include the names of the pet, helped alot![]()

Was this changed at some point, because I can confirm that the last time I checked (admittedly much more than one major patch ago), food and potions most certainly did effect fairy stats. Ah well, either way I have a stash of Mega-pots, I'll test this out when I get home if I remember to.For the food/buffs stuff. Food and stat potions are not applied to pets when summoned, only your base stats and stats from gear are applied.
Rouse does not recalculate egi/fairy stats, Spur does but spur is smn exclusive. So if you wanted you could swap from crit to det gear or something when summoning Eos/Selene to have her focus on another stat if you wanted for whatever reason.

Food has never affected pets
