About Us:
Eternal Calm originated on the FFXI server Ragnarok being the top linkshell on the server. We've all been long time members of the MMO community and the officers of the FC were extremely avid players of FFXI & WoW which is actually how all of us met to begin with. Through every MMO we have had high expectations for our own skill levels and we're looking forward to using our endgame MMO experience to create a great free company in FFXIV that plays at high end levels. Members from the company come from top FFXI linkshells and top 20 US guilds on WoW.

What type of members are we looking for?

● 　 We look for versatile players that can attend a majority of our scheduled events. We are always looking for exceptional players who are not only competent and strive for the best, but also pleasant to interact with. Every member is expected to pull their weight, to attend events as much as they are able, and everyone is an equal part of our team. To maintain this though, we choose our members carefully. Must be able to use voice chat (at least hear us).

● We are results- and performance-oriented. We reward our most dedicated players who also push the cutting edge of their gameplay. And most importantly, we're building a roster of people who actually care about how they play and how that gameplay affects every single other person in the raid.

What we expect of our members:

● You need to play on the job that you are needed for, which is not always the job you will want to play.
● Our members are expected to put the Linkshell's goals before their personal ones. Most activities we do together are for benefiting the Linkshell as a whole so we can remain strong and all get what we are looking for.
● Know your job and your task in every situation. You should have all appropriate gear and know how to behave.
● You should also know about all other jobs and what they are capable of. Only as a team it is possible to succeed.
● Know your way around. If you are new to an area find yourself some info on the web.

What we are NOT looking for:

● People who are out to benefit themselves, and will only think of themselves and their own gain.
● People who make an idiot out of themselves in front of the entire server.
● People who think EC is a quick and easy way to obtain drops/items they want.
● People who cannot participate in Linkshell events on a regular basis.
● People who think EC is a quick and easy way to make money!
● People who don't know anything about how to play their job well, and what's expected of them during LS events.
● People who do not have thick skin.
If you can't take constructive criticism or mild humor then this probably isn't the place for you.


Raid times: Fri-Sun 7pm-10pm EST with an optional Thursday. Events will also be happening throughout the week which are also optional.
