    Three Changes

The following are three improvements I would make to Final Fantasy XIV. They are, in my opinion, the few simple fixes that are stopping FF XIV from just being even more out of this world phenomenal, and I think they would go a long way in better immersing one into the experience.

    1) Stop the Chocobo riding music 2-4 levels after you get it (or give us the option to turn it off). Thank you Square for writing a fantastic Chocobo theme in this game. It's grandly orchestral, it's upbeat, it's...short...and repeats, a lot. There is a ton of other great music as you expand outwards elsewhere into the world. A particular favorite being Coerthas. The music is bleak, cold and unforgiving and is unlike any theme I've listened to in a snowy area. Fantastic! But I spend 90% of my time here on my Chocobo and up strikes this out of place, immersion ruining theme to cover up all of that hard work and experience development.

Stop it. The novelty of my Chocobo has worn off at this point and I'd rather hear what else you have to offer.

    2) Now this one is really nit-picking but it's something I have in every other game, and it goes a long way in making many things easier; Allow me to have more options when right-clicking a persons name. The hoops I must jump through to simply blacklist a gold spammer, add a friend, or invite a mate to party is ridiculous. A few seemingly simple adjustments to the interface would make the social aspect of your game easier, more appealing, and a boon to your players. Fumbling deep into menu's to perform some of these actions is tiresome, and frustrating.

    3) Finally, another bit of personal preference here, would have to be better Quest tracking. You have a rich, detailed world, full of adventure. However, keeping track of it all, is clumsy at best. A simple means to track or un-track quests would be fantastic. I even have to update the map with a new objective I wish to track, or even once a new quest is added. Simply give me the option to manually track my quests, or even just hide quests that are complete automatically. All of this is a huge experience break. I want the interface to be as out of the way as possible, not a hassle that takes me out of the flow of the game's setting. This seemingly simple addition would make a world of difference.

Those are just my thought's and I figured I'd share before returning to my time in Eorzea. What would you change and why? May the light of the Crystal guide you!
