    [EU] Several Worlds Character Creation Difficulties (Sep. 14)

    We are currently experiencing technical difficulties wherein players are unable to create new characters on Worlds belonging to the North American and European data centers on FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn. The issue is being addressed, and new updates will follow as additional information becomes available.

    [EU] Recovery from Several Worlds Character Creation Difficulties (Sep. 14)

    We were experiencing technical difficulties wherein players were unable to create new characters on Worlds belonging to the North American and European data centers, but the issue is now resolved.

    During this time, character data was properly created, but log in was prohibited due to an error. Instead of creating your character again, you will be able to log in to the character you were attempting to create.

    We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your patience.
