    why is some of the hunters log so stupid ...

    ok so when you look at the hunters log for instance lets say conjurer rank 2, the first thing you need to kill is 3 stone shells for 6.300 xp but then you need to kill 3 diseased treants 2 lead coblyn and 2 laughing toads for 6.500 xp .... why do I have to kill 7 mobs for 300 xp more than the stoneshells it doesn't make any sense at all, if I keep going down the list the one after that number 23 on the conjurer hunters log rank 2 is only 3 eft's for 6.700 xp ?? were is the consistency on the hunters log ?? some of them are silly like 10 mobs for 200-300 more xp than the last plz change this ....

    No do not change a thing, i didn't do my log until i was a lvl 47 black mage i couldn't find any quests because i had done most of them for my level and dungeoning took forever to get into SO i did all my logs and guess what i gained 1 and a half level from 47.
    THAT IS ALOT OF EXPERIENCE POINTS IT ALL ADDS UP TO A HUGE SUM.

    I'm guessing the exper gains are much higher later on then.
    I started ARR with a 30 Conjurer, took out Tier 1 and 2 in the hunting log, did the guild quests for 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 and I'm still level 30.

    I'm not too concerned about it. I will farm FATE content like everyone else but I didn't find the Hunting log to be much more than an excuse to explore the map.

    no I didn't say change the xp just make the mobs u have to kill more consistant

    No and double No

    Only thing they need to change is keep all MOBS in order of area ...
    It cost too much to teleport from one map to the other. So if i have to kill 3 monsters in Central Highland they should be grouped together.. not spread apart 5 kills down the list.

    You could always....read down the list to make sure there are no more in that area?

    As I see it, This is the designers way of making you appreciate the vast amount of mobs there are and also allows you as a player to experience fighting many types and styles of mobs. You can't learn to fight a Malboro by fighting only Buzzards. When mobs are grouped together in the log I assumed they had a similar trick to fighting them. I see the exp from the hunt log as a incentive but it is not it's purpose.

    You can also open up the Recommendations window, which will show you the log targets in the current area for both your class and grand company.

    I'd say adding POS to the log would be nice, or some kind of mini-map marker or tracking. Sometimes (I'm looking at you Mildeweed Goobbue) finding mobs with very few spans can get kind of annoying.

    I'd love to see repeatable "PARTY" lists, something to re-create FFXI style parties would be fun.

    I really like this idea however I fear it would only make FATE Grinding even more ridiculous if not implemented very carefully. Simple implementation would imply that after 10 mobs of a certain type downed, you get say 5k exp. FATE parties, instead of just hoping from FATE to FATE, would burn down these mobs as well while waiting for the next FATE to pop and it would up their exp/hr even more. A way to make this work would be to create a "buff" that activates upon completion of a hunter log entry, in which you essentially can't get FATE exp for 10 min or vice versa.
