Unable to complete quest (Shadows Uncast - Immortal Flames)

Every time I try to complete the quest it just says quest completed but does not actually complete.

I am having same issue with Shadows Uncast (Maelstrom) and accepted bug for Gridania version too it seems. Hope this GC quest completion gets fixed soon...

this might have been a total accident by me when i did it, but i talked to the NPC to rank up and had a delivery quest item that i turned in and then i was able to turn that quest in Shadows Uncast

I'm also having this issue.

Do you guys have full inventories as well?

EDIT: I fixed it. Because it offers seals as a reward you need to empty your bags.
