"We must needs plan our next move" a line Alphinaud says during the quest "The Black Wolf's Ultimatum". Just seems wrong to me, I think they accidentally a sentence.

It's correct english. All characters throughout the story line, even in the beginning quests have used "Needs".

It was often used in old english, such as Shakespearean times.

Wasn't referring to "needs", even with you change it to the singular it says "We must need plan our next move". I'm not really familer with Old English, but shouldn't it still say "We must needs to plan our next move"? If not, thanks for clearing this up for me
