The Lobby server Connection has Encountered An Error 3050

I finally got my hands on a copy of the game yesterday but was too tired to start a character. I get home from work this evening and I'm faced with 3050 error on my fresh character... I feel like it's my fate to not play this game

Looks like lots of others are having the same problem and that support says it "should have been fixed already" and are looking into it.

Same thing here, my old character works on Leviathan but the new one i tried to make on Famfrit with friends isnt working, 3050.

Old character works from a year ago, cannot create new on any NA or EU servers.

My wife's account is having this issue as well with both her version 1.0 characters on Ragnarok. It allowed her to use the character creator, but she can't log either one into the server.

Multiple servers including all 5 na/eu servers, all new characters on both ps3 and pc creation of new characters CANNOT login, however existing characters can. I did see a scheduled maint for Monday, however this seems like an issue which should be addressed before than, lets hope SE decides this is a more extreme down issue then waiting until Monday.
