    15. configure your graphics settings to turn off HDR, Turn off FXAA.

Hey SE, could you put some legit AA in your game by the DX11 release? It just took me a ridiculous amount of work to force it through without causing graphical issues.

Current Settings forced through GFX Card:

    AntiAliasing:
AA mode - Enhance Application Settings
AA samples - Enhance Application Settings
    Filter - Standard
    Anti-Aliasing Method - Supersampling
Morphological Filtering - (ON fullscreen only)

Texture Filtering - Override application settings
    Ansioscopic samples - 16x
    Texture filter - High Quality
    Surface Format Optimization - On

    Frame Rate Control -
Wait for Vertical Sync - Always ON
    OpenGL Tripple Buffering - ON

    Tessalation
    Tess - Override Application Settings
    Maximum Tessalation - 64X

    In Game Settings Change:

Turn off in game FXAA (like you would with SweetFX)
setting Tessalation settings will not work as first off that's a dx11 feature not a dx 9 feature and has to be coded into the game... *it will ignore the setting*

Smaa and FXAA is ignored at the control panel level even with overrides do to the fact the ingame as i stated in my previous post is done in software not hardware... Hence why when you turn it on or off at the driver level and leave it off in game it has 0 change..

Like a previous poster said your seeing that effect through morphological AA which is just a fancy way of saying were going to AA the whole gpu frame-buffer.. Which all your text + gfx are AA

Before anyone gets bent out of shape... AMD already has a profile for Final Fantasy XIV, and you have to override it by specifically creating a profile for ffxiv.exe

BTW, my only beef, graphically, with this game is the transparency (eg stealth, seeing through tree leaves, etc) is done by removing every other pixel instead of opacity. This is likely a PS3 compromise than a PC one.

When I run through areas with lots of water (The level 44+ area does this) the frame rate noticeably drops. Then again I have a single AMD HD 7770.

Like previous persons said: If FXAA is disabled in-game and disabled in SweetFX = no AA whatsoever.

I got another question. Did anybody try enbseries instead? Its quite a bit more complex. You have a lot more possibilities to mess with. I'd try it, but i'm at work atm..
