    If it says it has 'no effect' its because they have a stronger adloq shield on them, usually from someone casting adloq or succor on them already.

    A 200 shield will be replaced by a 201 shield and so forth. But a 200 shield will have no effect if a 201 shield is on. I haven't tested partially broken shields because I usually wait for the shield to break before recasting adloq so I dunno if it cares about the 'base strength' or the current strength.
