Thread: Bring back the 1.0 OST :<

Ya the i liked the 1.0 soundtrack as a listening on my iphone, In game it was so clashing with the atmosphere, nothing ever fit the area of the world we were in.... Now if we were Garlean Soldiers on conquest with our future tech fine it might of fit with all the techno guitar riffs of electronichood. The current music makes it feel like a FF world, now they can use the Uematsu electronica when we start pushing into Garlean Empire territory where futuristic tech is everywhere...
I know all picky and everything, I loved 1.0 soundtrack but when I was in the game like I said... it ruined it for me haha.

On top of that, they kept the exact same personal chocobo theme, and then threw out the old rental chocobo them and made them both the same in ARR, and I preferred the old rental chocobo theme over the personal one. Wish they could have at least 'tossed out' that one and made a new one for that too...

Actually, Soken retained Uematsu's original 1.0 rental chocobo theme (called 'Bo-down' on the Before Meteor album) when riding a rental chocobo in ARR as well (it's also used when riding a Chocoporter). Eorzea de Chocobo is likewise retained for personal chocobos as you know.

As for On Windy Meadows, which indeed was used when riding the ferry to Limsa Lominsa as a new character, the new Aleport theme is also a subtle remix of it if you listen even slightly closely to it, which made me squee with delight when I heard it.

I love them both, but ARR's wins out if only for "that" boss music :O
