where is the beard love?

lot's of final fantasy character have giant frikken beards, i mean just look at this glorious bearded mofo:

hell even this guy has a better beard than i can pick in character creation:


so, where is the option to have big awesome beards in FFXIV, maybe it's just me but i just don't feel that wizardly if i don't got a huge f*** off beard, give me something like gandalf or the traveler odin, or hell even a big burly beard like hagrid. the beard selection in character creation is sad.

I feel your pain man. My monk would look so bloody epic with a huge beard. Instead i am stuck with pubsecent facial hair. Sigh

Hopefully when they upgrade the graphics and stuff, to future proof the game again, they can also touch upon the character data as I'm fairly certain you don't see beards not because SE can't make them, but it's because they can't fit them into the memory they've allotted without fear of exploding the game (same reason why certain features are conjoined on other races like with Au Ra / Viera / Hrothgar). (Also the graphic upgrade would be nice for the hair/facial hair, a bit jagged / pixel obvious).

A large selection of varying beards would definitely add a lot of visual diversity, I think.
