The glow on relic+1 weapons is ugly

I really like the glow on the PLD sword and shield. Especially the shield. Makes it look actually 'Holy'. The glow kinda goes with how we made them +1, since we basically just poured that funky mist on them and stuck them in the fire.

But I don't understand why they wouldn't allow us to turn off the glow. Probably the same way they won't let us dye certain dungeon sets like the Acolyte, etc...because reasons.

I love my +1 glows. So far I have a Stardust Rod +1 and Omnilex +1 with a Veil of Wiyu +1 coming very soon. Eventually I want all of them. Yes, that's a lot of myth tomes. Yes, they could have been spent on other gear to specialize one job sooner. No, I don't care. I love my +1 glows.

While I can tolerate the full body glow of the +1 relics, I was looking at Thyrus today and imagined how much "cleaner" and cooler it would look with JUST the headpiece glowing, and not the glow we have now, but more like white flames dancing up from its wings.

my brd relic leaves a trail of sparkles when i run ^^ whats not to love.
ps does everyones +1 leave a sparkle trail? i have other peoples effects turned down.

A man used a hammer to repair my book.
Then I had to put my book in a smelter/firey device to upgrade it to +1.
Now it glows.

I'm taking it all with a big chunk of salt ^.^;;

I'm looking forward to my Moogle Book, as it will look like the book of monsters from Harry Potter and squeak at me every time I open it....

I paid 900 myths for my relic, I'm disappointed that it only glows. It should blur and shake the screen (like Meteor) when I take it out.

I love the weapon glow personally, it helps keep my attention off the ugly armor.

They all glow something in the ballpark of their job stone's colour, although not exactly.

PLD job stone - cyan
Weapon - pale blue with pinkish highlights
Shield - pale blue with purplish highlights

The weapon itself is in the ballpark of the soulstone. It just has a significant highlight that is a different colour.

Also, that screenshot is annoyingly the one always trotted out to show how purple the glow is. If you look at a screenshot that isn't taken during the purple glow of dark weather, then it's much less purple looking.
