    Tank "grieving?" Wtf?

Twice today when I've been in duty finder for Halatali and our tanks have bailed within 5 minutes of entering a dungeon. One of my teammates said he was reporting him and I said for what? And he explained to me that some tanks are "griefing" by loading duty finder, then dropping out once they're queued. He said its a "thing" some tanks have been doing to get on people's nerves. Has anyone heard of this?
*Edit, this grieving is taking place immediately after being added into the dungeon. So no one has cursed the tank out, or played poorly to get them upset or anything.
Just seems pointless to just bail on a party that just started.

Never heard of this... if this is a new trend, hopefully when GTA5 + Subscriptions are in full effect, it weeds out some of these immature players. Not that GTA5 is for immatures, I am just thinking possibly some of these people are playing FF until that game launches or what not.

I have been told to "Shut the fuck up" when i made a shout with the translator words, but thankfully lots of people came to my defence

If bailing just to annoy others that is being childish.

If bailing because someone is being negative on them, then they are doing because they don't want to deal with others who are shildish.

Never heard of a tank doing this just to grief people, but they certainly do it if somebody says they are new to the dungeon, or if the tank doesn't like the party composition. In my opinion, this is just as bad, and ought to be dealt with somehow -- but I'm not sure if it's possible.

Part of me thinks that maybe tanks/healers should suffer a larger penalty for leaving a dungeon group early on. I realize that isn't fair, but frankly neither is the laughably disproportionate queue times between different roles. In my opinion, a responsible MMO dev would take some kind of action to address this "meta" aspect of their game. Even though it's not necessarily built into the content of the game, it is essentially a "class balancing" issue, because some classes do have a huge advantage over other classes in this part of the game. Queuing, or re-queuing, is basically meaningless to them, and the temptation to leave at the first sign of a non-speed-run is too great.

It's hard to say. The tank could be having connection issues. Last night I kept getting disconnected every 30mins or so then NA/EU server group not found. My teammates probably thought I just flaked on them.

You stay in a party for quite bit after you're logged out. Disappearing from a party list in duty finder means they flat out left.

That's not entirely true. If they had the game freeze on, say, a PS3 (which has happened to me 3 times since the last update), the game actually logs out immediately. The upside is that you can log back in after restarting, the bad is that your ps3 is freezing and also needs to check the HDD all the time.

I've logged in/out of a dungeon before, but that was messed up thing earlier in week (first dungeons) - Duty Finder dropped me in that Copper Bell Mine with a party-in-progess, I had to make my way to boss chanber (where they were) and got a lil lost when I used the short-cut, boss area locked me out. So after realising it wasnt to let me in I reluctantly bailed and DF put me back in again, that time I got there in time
People doing that on purpose is just petty and rude, no need to ruin other peoples games.

Oh I'm a tank btw, new to it though so be kind if we meet online

If your the first to bail a party don't you have to wait 15 mins to use duty finder again? If so I don't see this "trend" lasting long, this 15 min timer involves patience and from experience most trolls and 5 years olds don't have patience.
