Heh I was hoping the companions could do that too...

But one thing they can also do, in the case of field monsters, is vary the ranks of the monsters in the regions more. Right now R1 areas sorta have it right by having R10 or so dodo's running around. However, R10,20,30, and 40 areas dont have monsters with a high enough rank above the area.

If say the rank 30 area would have monsters that were R23-30 in one part of it, 31-38 in another part, and 39-48 in yet another part, it would add more diversity to the areas.

Another thing they could do (yes this is sorta a copy from other mmo's) is add varying monster difficulties at the same rank. Like having a R30 monster that is easily soloed (an Antling Worker for example). Then you can have the R30 monster that is beastly in comparison (an Antling Fighter for ex), Making it take at least 4 people of equal rank to defeat without too much trouble. Then you can have the R30 monster that is a master combatant (an Antling Warlord(hah) for ex), then maybe that one would take 8 people of equal rank to kill without much trouble.

This way, all the weak R30 monsters could have the same HP as the guildleve mosters (easily soloable), The Middle monsters could have 4 times as much HP and do more damage (Similar to monsters above our rank), and the warlords could have 8-10x more HP than the solo monsters and do lots more damage (equivilant of monsters say 15-20 ranks above).

I guess they can be called something like Peon, Warrior, then Warlord. Then after that you have your NM wiith even more HP and whatnot.

And if they do it like they've been doing it, there would be an indicator to tell which monster is what type.
