    SE not showing ingame MS in ffxiv???

    This is extremely confusing as to why I cannot see my MS in game through an option in the interface which is an extremely important tool in regards to properly gauging latency to a server, where as they decide to show packet loss instead? I mean cmon packet loss being shown is useless to pretty much everyone.

    Remove packet loss mouse over in the interface as it is useless and let it show something useful as to the MS you're getting to the server just like every other decent MMO.

    Seeing packets is also important and a bit more accurate because people with similar pings seemingly can't dodge AoE while the other can (let's be real this is likely why you're even "suggesting" this fix.)

    Suggesting this fix so that people can choose their servers properly with all the information readily available in game instead of having to run a trace route or ping test to an IP address which is 'claimed' to be of the servers by fan sites.

    Also allows for quick judgements as to if it's you or the server causing latency with showing both home/world MS thus allowing for the player to better gauge if they can fix the latency on their end or if it's all the server's fault.

    Seemingly ? as in you have no hard evidence to back that up ?

    How you managed to get to the conclusion you did it anyone's guess, fact is MMO's have been using ping/latency bars since WoW, SE probably don't want us to see this information though, keeping us in the dark about their latency issues is one less thing for us to bitch about. (even though we are anyway)
