    Complaint o the day....

    Hello

Been enjoying the game so far except for one thing, the same thing that people did in 1.0.

For the love of all that's holy quit crafting on top of the npc's and or in front of them. Also the summoning bell, quit standing on top of the bell. You can access it just fine a little ways back. There was somebody yesterday, a supposedly better player, I thought, sitting right on top of the bell crafting. Are you seriously that lazy you can't move a few steps back somewhere else?? I even asked him to move, of course got a smart ass rude answer...

Use some common sense people, please!

    Thanks!

I agree that it is very annoying, especially when you need to target the NPC or the Summoning Bell using PS3 controller and cycling through a dozen or so characters. I find these players very rude and have no issues asking them to please move so other players can interact with said object. Sadly common sense isn't common, if it were we'd not have issues like this.

I know they say a good rule of thumb is "Don't attribute to malice what can much more easily be attributed to incompetence," but I don't think whomever coined that one had taken "Teh Intarwebz" into account. I'm not sure people are standing on the summoning bell because they are too "lazy" to move off of it. WoW (and probably many MMOs) have the same thing going on, with vendor NPCs, mailboxes, and the like. People just go stand on/in them, especially if they have a large character who can encompass most of the object. These people are aware of what they are doing.

People that stand directly over you while crafting so you can't see your conditions.

Doesn't happen to me too often since I try to stay out of traffic but sometimes for whatever reason people are compelled to stand right on top of you or set up their crafting in front/on top of you so its overlaps. Weirdos.

You know it says the condition in the crafting menu under the durability right?

Be careful what you wish for. In EQOA people would block doorways in towns and you'd have to put them on your "blacklist" to be able to pass through them without collision. Griefers gonna grief.

Just spam the hell out of their PM's, I'm sure they'll "get the message" and you win the internet.

If someone crafting near NPCs or the bell, I'm gonna sit on the stuff he's crafting.

first thing I did when I logged into p4 was to disable player names and healthbars.. Makes it easy to just click the npc name when it's the only one visible.

edit: later on found it helpful to disable minion names as well.

Not that this isn't a worthy request, but if you hold down the X key it makes PCs non-targetable so you can get through to the NPC.
