How to disable target lock?

Hello all, I gave a Logitech G600 and when I use one of the buttons on the side it sometimes locks onto the target and its really annoying, as if I'm on ps3. I can't find the option to turn it off. Anyone have any info on this?

Before getting in game (Start Screen, where the FF fanfare music loops and it eventually goes into the trailer videos), go to Configuration.

Move cursor to the Gamepad icon and click that 2x to get into gamepad settings. Move the pointer down to Begin next to Button Configuration and assign the actions you want to each button.

I think you can get into it while in game also from the main menu\system config path.

Otherwise, there are options for targeting under Main Menu\Character Configuration I think when in Game. Things like whether you auto lock on, face a target when commiting actions, target filtering modes (All, Friendly, Enemy modes), and such.
