Looking for crafters thread.

Some of us are finding it a little difficult to locate advanced crafters this early into the game, and yet to forge our ultimate weapons and armor, we have no choice. So, for those of you looking for crafters or want to get the word out that you're one of them, post here. Feel free to chase people up in game as well rather than just waiting for a reply here.

Myself: Currently looking for a level 47 Alchemist. I need someone to make me Enchanted Gold Ink and the Erudite's Picatrix of Casting from that. I have all the materials besides the basic crystals. There are some books (Erudite's Picatrix of Casting) that you can buy on the market board which is relatively cheap; around 30K+ gil or so. The easy part is getting the book. The really hard part is getting someone to actually meld the material into the book for you. I have been at this for two weeks now and have yet to find anyone who will meld the material in to the book for me. I even offered to pay 10K gil for it but no luck.

Yes, I ended up caving and buying my own. There's several of them on the market boards and the same people who made them SHOULD be able to meld materia as well... And yet I can't find one. Let me know if you do find someone and I'll do the same for you.

Mind you, I was offering a 20k fee for the melding, no luck.

Update: I found one on Ultima. Logged on at the very last second before maintenance and melded materia for me just before server went offline. Her name's Rinda Drieu. Really polite and pleasant too.

On another note, any idea why Carbonized Material doesn't appear on the message boards? Even when I put up my own farmed stacks they don't appear. Searching for 'carbonized' or 'material' turns up nothing at all.

We have a 50 Carpenter (Noma Snow) and a 50 Alchemist (Gaun something?) in our FC. I'm working on a list our FC forums to keep track of these folks .

Currently taking a break from levelling my battle classes due to time constraints and focusing on Goldsmithing and Weaving. I will update when I cap them both.

I've gotten to the point to where I am even willing to pay but I can't ever find a person to do it. You said his name was Guan something. I'll try and look him up and see if he'll be willing to meld my materia for me. I hope a payment of 10k is adequate. Thanks LeCompte.
