    Is Vitality the only usefull Stat to use our char points?

    just as tittle says, discuss.

    Keep in mind:
    Mind: gives me around 0.6-0.8 raw healing point so 30 points in it means i cure you for 18-24 extra hp!.
    Piety: sch don't need more mana, whm can handle his pool good.
    Int: same as mind, just a tiny bit of damage improvement.

    also about Determination, it does something?

    don't know about other stats but please reply as I'll play with this misguided concept.

    The point alocating wont be really usefull when they add more content with better equipment really, so dont bother too much and try to establish those points as you see fit. Also determination gives a little boost to damage(I'm not sure if also works for magic damage) and increases the healing received if I' m not wrong.

    I'd love to know the values a bit better in general myself. I keep having a hard time determining if determination, MND or crit rate is the best overall healing stat. (For which gear to pick).

    Overall it feels nice with determination since it seems to be "+all stats" stat. But who knows if it is very minor just because it effects them all.

    STR make my tank class nearly parry 60% of all hits

    lowering overall dmg by 21 - 34%

    so its not just i hit harder only

    EDIT: forgot to add DEX make you parry Ranged weapons attacks

    as STR parry melee attacks

    My understanding from reading the descriptions of the stats was that increasing STR increases the % damage parried/blocked, not the actual parry/block rate itself. Likewise, DEX seems to be the one to increase Parry/Block rates.0

    STR - Affects physical melee damage, as well as damage prevented by parrying & blocking.
    DEX - Affects physical ranged damage, as well as parry & block rates.

    For my WAR tank I've gone 50/50 STR/VIT and end up with around ~5400 HP with Defiance on and around 31% damage reduction. I've wondered about taking a little away from VIT to just have around 5000 HP and putting some into DEX for increased Parry.

    This is COMPLETELY wrong.
    400 -> 430 mind is a 7%(44.77 per 400 potency cure) healing increase with SCH relic. This is super good end game gear, you generally won't have 400 base MND so 30 MND will be an even bigger increase.

    Shiyo has the right of it. I had two extra respec tomes sitting in my inv from 1.0 that I used a few days ago. MND makes a huge difference in your healing output. If you're throwing all your points into Vit, you're definitely gimping yourself.

    That can't possibly be right at all.
    If it were, none of the DoM stats would matter on gear in the least, meaning they might as well go in naked for as little good as you're making the stats out to be.
