A sidequest is a quest with a nice story, like the quests in whitegate with the viper generals or whatever they were called. No good reward, but fun and cool ^-^

Anyway, to me it's funny to think that the abhorrent assaults in ffxi had more intriguing and immersive story than any of these levequests.

The leve's are all basically just one repeatable trash-quest.

I seriously don't think getting the same ones is a problem because I really can't tell the difference even when they're not the same.

It's the fact that they exist and are boring as hell that's bothering me and that is the meat of the game currently.

Funny story, they DID make it a "real" MMO .hack//frägment was what it was called, JPN only and played apparently just like the single player games, just with real people instead of AI.
