    I haven't done a single side quest @_@; I'll end up doing them when there's a lot though I'm pretty sure people voted "sidequests" thinking "Oh I want to be able to quest 1-50 like in WOW omg!!", not understanding what a REAL sidequest in a real MMO actually is.

    By your definition, that'd mean "something to take up time with that gives little to no rewards, thus keeping me busy when I have absolutely nothing better to do", right?

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
