People teleport hacking mining nodes

Just witnessed seven different people teleporting between mining nodes. Some were even appearing under the ground to mine them. I know hacking exists, but seven appearing in front of me within a five minute period is a bit worrying. If this is happening to this extent already, god knows what it will be like a few weeks/months down the line. This is going really screw with server economies (if I can randomly see seven within five mins at one spot, how many more are there around the world?).

I of course reported them. Have recorded a video too, but not uploaded it yet (has only just happened).

EDIT: An eighth one has joined it. I give up. Spending more time reporting than playing this morning.

I'm watching a few (probably the same ones) on Hyperion shamelessly rotate around the level 5 nodes that are just outside of Ul'dah in Central Thanalan. It took me like 4 mins to report them because half of them were underground D:

Saw one two days ago right outside of Ul'dah and reported. Yesterday, I saw him again w/ a new friend. Then another one a littler further down at the next level nodes.

There was also another suspicious pair who spent two days just running around from node to node (still in their starting gear).

Sadly FF14 is still in the early stages (ARR that is). A teleport hack is quite simple to make for even an inexperienced developer. I'm sure they'll implement a detection algorithm be it client or server sided, just give them time

i would be kinda careful with the ones that are actually running around unless you see them for literally 2 days straight, i know farming shards is one of the best ways for newbs to get some gil atm without actually investing in gathering. The teleport people really need to be dealt with though.

Yeah, as suspicious as it seemed I figure there isn't technically anything wrong with it or enough evidence to prove otherwise. Only reported the teleporters.

I've been seeing this the past week too and thought it was lag on my end. I didnt think a teleport hack could be done so early in the game. At least 4-6 people, spread out in different nodes.

I'm having a problem believing this is a thing.

So much of Gathering, crafting, their achievement logs and spirit bonding gear is tied to raw grind. I can think of so many reasons for people to farm nodes that never deplete due to game goals.

As for graphics glitches. I haven't seen them but I'm usually looking at the radar.
