Having trouble with Making money with fishing

I am only level 30 but it seems that all my fish are garbage, i do attempt to sell them at alot lower then the other's but no one is buying them. I do keep up to make sure my listings are the cheapest.

If anyone has any suggestions on what fish might sell please let me know. I had about 40k gil but then it disappeared, due to teleports and etc. I was reading that alot of 50's who did not level crafting or gathering skills are broke. So i halted the leveling, almost 40. I decided to work on fishing and i have scene no returns.

Go to xivdb.com and look up each fish and see which ones are used for crafting. A lot of your fish aren't used for crafting, so you should probably just sell them to a vendor.

fishing make money only on few fishes, all of them used for cooking. You probably looking for cloud cutter, navigator's dagger and fullmoon sardine

Also check the Leve NPCs what fishes you would need for the fishing leves. The reward you get from the leves is higher than a NPC would give you if you sell him the fish.

The fishing leves work like the crafting leves. If a Leve want 3 fishes, the chance is high that you can then redoing that leve 2 or 3 times without paying extra leve allowances.
