Show me some proof of this statistical imbalance. A lot of anecdotal experiences is not proof, by the way.
I've seen almost nothing but magic gear and monk gear since hitting 50, but I'm not about to suggest that's because the game is biased against tanks. RNG be RNG. (See name.)
Wait until he does AK runs...he will see obscene then. On that note, I've only done like 4 Brayflox runs and seen like 3 battle mage drops while the tanks didn't get much. So yes, it is quite random. Unless you can show actual stats from the game itself.
Well, most dungeons have the same DoM gear for both healers and mages while there's BRD gear(DEX), MNK gear(STR med armor), Tank gear(heavy armor), "DRG gear"(that they can't need because its also heavy armor O_o). The accessories tend to split between healers and mages while grouping MNK and DRG together since fewer dungeon accessories have int and mnd while MNK and DRG both care about STR. So, yeah its going to seem like low-mid level mage gear is a rarer drop when it has a ~1/5 chance to drop. Every other class has the same 1/5 chance though...
OP clearly doesn't understand statistics or randomness. If I were to generate a long random sequence of 1's and 0's I would have sections of 8+ consecutive 1's or 0's just because that's how random works, its, well, random. Random does not mean if you have a 1/5 chance you'll get your desired outcome in 5 attempts. Also you don't exactly have good evidence for your claims.

Sure, I'll get right on making that incredibly boring 8 hour youtube video as evidence, provided you all do the same. My only response: play as a DoM and draw your own conclusions.
Demogogue half-robes my first run. Demogogue half-robes half my runs afterwards. Demogogue choker didn't drop until I bought my darklight neck, after which I now have to pass on it every time I run AK.
Your evidence is one big silly anecdote. Random is random.
1) I AM DoM and have noticed nothing wrong with droprates.
2) You'd need way more than 8 hours of youtube video as evidence. Unless that video is an 8 hour slide show of the well over 1000 data points you'd need to have meaningful statistical evidence.

Interesting. On average how much DoM loot would you say you see in a run of 5 dungeons? I typically see (mind you that's see in a loot window, NOT acquire) a piece every two dungeons or so, sometimes more, sometimes less. It may simply be that some of us are prone to better luck than others. I'm not a statistician nor do I wish to be so I'll leave work like that to people like the guys and gals at gamerescape. I'm sure someone will release an official statistical tally at some point. Here's hoping my luck and that of many other DoMs improves in the days to come. Thanks for a counter point to my original one; it's refreshing to see not all DoMs are encountering such poor luck
And Jinko that is EXACTLY my point! That's the way it should be in an ideal situation. I wholeheartedly concur.

I was going to post a thread regarding this a while back but never got around to it.
Maybe I just have bad luck, and maybe others have great luck or something but I rarely see a DoM drop, ever (and I leveled up by doing only dungeons and storyline missions).
I saw zero pieces of DoM armor drop in HM (while I have a full set of accessories - jewelry- from that place).
Brayflox was slightly nicer to me, I managed to get the chest, gloves, and boots after a significant number of runs. My chest was one of two, and the rest dropped only once.
Zero pieces from Qarn.
Zero pieces of DoM armor from Cutter's but like HM, I managed to acquire a full accessory set.
One pink pants from stone vigil.
Dzemael has been nicer to me - I have the chest and pants of both green sets from there.
I don't think this is a coincidence...? Otherwise, more DoW would be posting about how they never see their drops either?
I was starting to think that DoM gears just didn't exist in same dungeons....

Yes! THANK you! Your experience seems to more or less be mine as well, hours. You also broach another related subject: the fact that there are NO posts whatsoever for DoW players bemoaning the same problem we're experiencing. You'd think that would be evidence enough but I suppose it isn't. Still, there's something to be said for the fact that there have been no threads from angry DoW raiders on this issue (at least none that I've seen though I'd welcome evidence to the contrary).
