Scholar(Or any pet) - Steady, bugged or working as intended?

Title pretty much sums it up. What I am curious about is if the pet command Steady is bugged or working as intended. Currently, you use it then it'll only use embrace(And I think second skill too? I forget, been a few days) on its own freedom, but it'll save third/fourth move for you to manually use. But then once you use it, all bets are off and freedom is returned to your pet, commonly using the other skill/s right after.

So I'm wondering if this is working correctly? Or if its just something I'm not doing right. Any tips on a fix for this, even if macro, or I'm doing it wrong, or its broken.... would be nice.

That is just how it works ATM. So it is working as intended, but it honestly shouldn't be like that. It's terrible. It should just stay on steady no matter what you cast and not go back to guard everytime you manually use an ability.

If you target the enemy and click Obey and then right away click Heel it gives you greater control of your pet by removing some of their abilities from auto cast. You can then place them where you want as well. NOTE: In dungeons you only have to do this to one group of mobs and it will stay like this until you unsummon the fairy, or it dies.

Eos (Healing Fairy):

- Embrace: The fairy will auto cast this whenever needed
- Whispering Dawn (AoE Regen): The fairy will auto cast this whenever it sees fit.
- Fey Covenant (Magic Def Boost): This ability is now under your control
- Fey Illumination (Healing Pot Buff): This ability is now under your control

Selene:
- Embrace: This ability is under the fairies control
- Silent Dusk (Silence): This ability is now under your control
- Fey Glow (Spell Speed): This ability is now under your control
- Fey Light (Skill Speed): This ability is under your control

Good for fights you want to keep from adding to the DR.

Hm, I'll give that a shot, Farhes. I haven't tampered to much with it, generally letting my faires free cast.

What if I want to manually cast embrace? Does it reset the fairy again and it starts using its abilities off CD?

Edit: I just tried what I said and she doesn't start spamming abilities again if I start manually using embrace. This "trick" or bug or whatever is how it should be. SO good

I think it is how it is supposed to work. Your fairy just isn't obedient enough to let someone die. Also lets you save your 3 cooldown skills for when you really need them.
