I'm a bit weird about it. As a monk player, I don't mind dodging stuff and in fact I really enjoy it, as I often find standing still and dpsing as a ranged extremely boring. What I DON'T find fun is when an extremely important buff of mine drops off because of its short duration while I am away from my target. If you make monks do the extra work by dodging dangerous mechanics, don't also punish them so severely with such a loss in dps. Requiring both is unfair, and most MMOs simply don't get this correct.
