cant add new job classes

i have a transfered 1.0 character. was originally a gladiator, which i initially leveled to 44. also have paladin 44, maruder 33, conjurer 30, lancer 2, and fishing to 5. i have done all the NEW story line quests up to level 30 (have chocobo and it partners with me fine). i did all the 1.0 storyline quests to at least 10.

but now when i go to any guild that i did not open in 1.0, the guild receptionist tells me that i need to level my main class and to do the story quests through level 10, which i've obviously done. my journal shows all story quests in the current version don through level 30 and I wouldn't know how to re do them if I could. i can not open any new classes. help!

Go back to each guild as that guild's class, starting with Gladiator and make sure you walk in as that class.

Make sure you have no quests to do. That will be step 1.

No, you did the class quests to 10 on 1.0 but you have to do them in ARR. If you imported your 1.0 character as a Gladiator, then go to the guild and burn through the quests. Your transferred character may retain all of it's levels, but you still have to do the class quests to level 10 to open up access to other classes.
