Another thing people need to consider, is the locking of servers is stopping the flow of Gil spammers creating new Spammer bots. That is why they have started resorting to hacking accounts, because they can't get in the game otherwise.

Is it a perfect method? No. But until they can fix the problem with a more permanent solution

It may not stop the spammers, but it greatly reduces the no. of spammer bots. Yesterday, because Behemoth was open, there were at least 4-5 spammer bots in Ul'dah, normally when server lock, the most would be 1 or 2. That said, I hope more players come to Behemoth, because it's an awesome server.

Block players from entering servers because some of those players could be gil spammers? Are you seriously making this argument? Square Enix is behaving like they never knew those people existed. If they gave a moments thought to them during development they would have at least incorporated the old right click block/report command. You can't report them and they don't police them. Hours will go by between log on/off and the same accounts spamming shout/tells are still there. Fortunately once you have them blacklisted the spam is mostly quiet until you enter new zones or log on the next day so it is managable.

That being said, the game is giving me a desire to play that I havent felt in a long time. I love the graphics, story and immersion of the world. They really put out a triple A game. Thanks Square.
