Confused about party mechanics

This is probably a dumb question, but I can't find the answer anywhere else. When I join a party, we have a limit meter, right? And when it fills up we can use a limit break. How do we actually do that? Like, what button do I press? Do I click something on the screen? Is it something only the party leader can activate? Someone help me out here.

Also, once the duty's over and we've cleared out the dungeon and everyone else has gotten a chance to roll on all the gear that I can't use, how do I actually leave the party? I can't for the life of me find out where that command is.

Under General in the Actions and Traits menu


Place that on your bar.


And to leave a party in Duty Finder, click the Duty Finder button and hit leave

To leave a party outside of duty finder, open the social lists menu and click leave

You have to hot key the limit break skill. It's under actions or skills or something like that in your menu. Anyone can use the limit break once the bar has filled up but regardless of who does it, the bar will be used. It's shared among the party members so its best to decide who will use it and when.

Once you exit the dungeon, you're already out of the party, unless you actually formed a party with someone..then you'll have to leave manually.

Can also leave a premade party with /leave

... "/leave". Yeah. That... should have occurred to me.

I'm just so used to left clicking something in the party interface and getting the option to leave. Every other MMO I've ever played does it. Oh well. Thanks.
