What about the 12?
What about the 12?
From what I've witnessed:
Ramuh, the Lord of Levin, isn't exactly "good" per se, he's just not aggressive. He and his followers won't, say, invade Gridania and such to gain followers. This is because Ramuh is associated with "reconciliation" - that is, he's the prime manifest of Slyphic traditions and the fact that most motherland Sylphs fear being tainted by those on the outside. Thus, Ramuh is in effect trying to bring the non-tempered Sylphs back to the Sylphlands with the premise that they resign themselves to accept that they are who they are.
I'd wager a guess that this is exactly how Leviathan acts too - to a different degree. Whereas the Lord of Levin prefers that one accept their origins, the Lord of Whorls prefers to protect the future of the Sahagin, and safeguard their home from Limsa's fishermen (although to be fair, the Lord of Crags struck back not out of hate, but out of the repercussions brought by the Lominsans who encroached on their lands).
Basically, of the Primals that have a tribe of worship, Garuda and Ifrit seem to be by far the most aggressive (not sure about Shiva, as we haven't seen her tribe to warrant any speculation).
Also, for those curious, Bahamut is worshipped by the Dravanians (what the game calls the Dragonkin), and the Gigas were revealed in Mor Dhona to have a degree of sentience capable of worshipping something (my belief is that their deity lies on the Crystal Tower, since that was their "holy place").
But yeah, I'm thinking the next aspected Primal'll be Ramuh - since his model's in-game already.
I'm kinda disappointed that the summoner is just a WoW warlock.
I expected BIG summons, not small little pets. It should have been more like the summoner class in Tactics.
All this is great.. but totally off subject.... This is about new forms of Primals, GOOD primals, which could be reborn (FFXIV REBORN), as ancient protectors of cities, area's, or gods themselves. Whatever the case could be. They would act differently than beastkin primals.
I just feel like this would throw the lore off. All primals need a group to gather sustenance for them to exist. That in itself kind of means there has to be a group taking from others and its kind of hard to put a good natured twist to that. All this is great.. but totally off subject.... That's where the change in their particular lore is. Heck, SE could call them something else entirely, and add a whole new meaning/reason for their existence, or them coming to being.
Alexander please. Defeat will grant a boost to Holy!
