I put in a ticket where 10 hours earlier the GM responded with their auitomated response saying the user has been reported several times, and then the users were all still there spamming away. I've also noticed the GM's dont even read the ticket, I sent in a ticket about GM's Spamming Automated Responses without reading the Tickets and the reply was the same Automated Response, sent in a ticket as if it was about RMT spam but only including complaints about the Gms not reading the tickets inside the ticket and got again the same response. Also noticed that if you don't literally put in RMT or spam in the title they dont respond what-so-ever to any issue of any kind.
Also a majority of the accounts now are stolen, including my other account where I am a Free Company Leader. After playing FFXI/FFXIV for more than 10 years straight, that delete button is looking awfully tempting and Square Enix can go to Hell where they deserve for letting the account data get stolen and then blaming the users.
Ive never gone to an RMT site, never even used Windower or a parser. I'm not a moron going to stupid parts of the internet compromising my security.never been stupid enough to get a keylogger on my pc or LAN. Only gotten 2 viruses in my life on an older computer cause one of my friends was drunk while i was asleep. I only used this password for Square Enix which forced it to also be on Digital River because of the Square Enix Store. And my account was stolen and is marked to be banned even though I've already cleared with SE Support that an irregular IP hacked into my account in a timeframe that deviates from my log-in schedule
They 'claim' a 3rd party site was hacked that compromised the accounts, but unless it was Digital River that's a lie. Originally they stated the account information was secure even though this 'anonymous' 3rd party was hacked and SE has already retracted that statement. And it's still 100% SE's fault if it WAS Digital River since your Square Enix Account Management password is forcefully attached to every Digital River order. IF that even is the truth, if SE would have ever reset the passwords and made everyone change their passwords it would of fixed it. They said 'they might if the issue is bad enough' well the issue seems pretty damn bad if SE Support is saying that the issue has occurred on 1000s of accounts. Also if it was a 3rd Party Site (even though it had FFXIV account information on it) they are legally required to publicize their compromise, but only SE is known to be compromised at the moment. And I would like to know how many 3rd parties SE has given our information to, aside from Digital River.
I enjoyed my time in FFXi, I enjoyed my time in 1.0, I enjoyed testing in the Alpha/Closed Beta. I enjoy the time when things aren't screwed up in ARR, but people have been screwed over in Open Beta where they ignored the 3102 error for over 48 hours before doing anything, ppl were screwed over in Early Access because the problems first flagged as 3102 errors proved to be that the DataCenters were faulty in the 1st place because of lax Quality Assurance, ppl were screwed at launch by the RMT spam not having any countermeasures (even thought they already exist in FFXi), ppl were screwed at launch cause they were stupid enough to not put in a auto-disconnect and ppl were deliberately staying afk to avoid logging back in preventing others from accessing the game, and now ppl are being screwed by whatever-the-hell the security breach is that is not being disclosed that combined with the company being retarded and lifted the account block when accessed from an invalid IP is leading to accounts being stolen and is exacerbating the RMT spam issue that they have done NOTHING about.
This game was at it's greatest in Closed Beta and that is pathetic...
And I wouldn't be surprised if the only reason my Main Account was banned was because I had an extra character on a JP server, and the NA/EU division is too laxy to do a damn thing about anything. I know by looking in the Free Company that they did not log-in my main character.
