Easier Access To Crafting Materials

I originally posted this several days ago in Markets and Retainers, but I think that may have been the wrong place since it really targets crafters and gatherers, especially all-crafters. The thread barely got any notice, maybe because no one liked the idea, but maybe because the right people weren't seeing it. So here it is, if it sinks again into obscurity, I'll take the hint and simply keep my fingers crossed for future patches.

Until recently I've been keeping all of my crafting materials in my main inventory, but that's led to having to sell things I'd otherwise hang onto for future crafting. So now I've been using my retainers' inventories, but it can be a real pain when I want access to those items for crafting.

I would like the capability to drag an inventory tab to another tab—either in my own inventory or my retainer's—and have the contents of the two tabs swap. This would be very useful to keep lots of items in a particular category, such as culinary ingredients, grouped together, and be able to remove them from your inventory easily when you are finished synthing, then add them again later.

OR

Allow crafting to use items from your retainers' inventories. I just thought of this one. I like the convenience it would offer, but doesn't convey much realism.
