    Monk: Shoulder Tackle needs to be reworked.

    The stun on shoulder tackle is not in an incredibly usable state. The best use I've found is to interrupt Terror Eye on the adds during the last fight in AK. Otherwise you have to be a long distance away to use it.

    However, Shoulder tackle has a great use in giving monk in combat mobility. Such as on hardmode garuda, getting back to garuda after plumes to continue keeping up GLIII and continuing to dps her. HOWEVER, on fights like ifirit and many other endgame fights where the tank/off tank has to interrupt the boss, you mine as well take shoulder tackle off the bar. Because you will add to the diminishing returns of the ability.

    What I propose:
    -Remove the stun from shoulder tackle.
    -Remove the need to be distant from the target to use.
    -Greatly lower its cooldown.

    It becomes completely a mobility skill for moving about the battle ground.
    With no range attacks and the need to continously attack to maintain their GL, this would add an interesting dynamic to monk.

    Honestly I doubt they will do much for reducing its CD. Perhaps a bit if they did remove the stun (which I do think they should take out). As for the distance... its silly to have an ability that tackles from point blank. Sure, it would be nice to have its minimal distance a bit lower but I can't see it being used from every distance either.

    Agreed, the stun is a nice touch but sorely needs to be on a seperate diminishing returns from main stun abilities.. (hi Ifrit). It's kind of frustrating Shoulder Tackling to an enemy, getting a 1s stun, using Mythril Pike and getting now a 2s stun instead of the full 4s.. It's our only gap closer, and should be fleshed out to be just that, a shorter cooldown would go a long way for that.

    If they for some obnoxious reason insist on the long cooldown... they should at least tape a massive chunk of Potency on it (~200), without the stun.

    Shoulder tackle works perfect fine just need a lower cooldown I would suggest a 60s cooldown or a 30s cooldown since a MNK has no ranged abilities. I do agree that removing the stun for a lower cooldown would be amazing. Right now MNKs are sitting in a good spot as well as DRG, trying to make these classes extremely similar is bad game design. Right now DRGs stuns and a few other things is a large part of why they are good in groups while a MNKs damage, dispel, silence(doesn't work half the time), and Mantra is a great reason for being a MNK.

    Shoulder tackle definitely needs a range restriction, thought it should be something more like 5 yards instead of 10. It also does need a CD reduction with how often you have to step away from the target in boss encounters and could use an ability to quickly get back into melee range to keep GL stacks on. I aslo agree the stun either needs to go or maybe increased if they keep it. Right now if you use shoulder tackle as an initiator it will give you time to get one bootshine or one dragonkick off and that is it and of these two only one has a positional requirement that you will be able to get by using the advantage the stun gives you.

    you won't want "any range" trust me, the last thing you want to do is accidentally hit that at the wrong point and then be trudging across the map to get to be where you're supposed to.
