    Crysta VS game time card

    Ok I have a question. I would like to get my Vet Rewards now, Specifically the Race change token. but i still have 34 days till i get billed. So that's 34 days till i can get the rewards....What i want to know is will Crysta work like a Game Time card? where if i buy a couple thousand, then select Crysta as my form of payment for my sub.....will i get the rewards instantly? because i already have given them the money for the Crysta...I dont know. Can anyone help me out?

    No. Buying Crysta now only adds Crysta to your Crysta balance. The Crysta to cover FFXIV game time will not be deducted from your Crysta balance until you run out of game time. Vet rewards activate when you pay for FFXIV game time. Crysta can (theoretically) be used for things other than FFXIV game time, so simply having a Crysta balance doesn't cut it.

    You use the time cards to buy crysta as well so I don't see how it would be any different that way either.
