If it isn't referring to a RL date, perhaps the in-game date? I'm not exactly sure if that would happen to land on the end of Hatching Tide, though.

Hopefully you are right. I can't imagine them starting this so soon, if the date was all the way in july. By mid may the mysterious GM would be no more exciting then a leve quest. He would stop talking in poems, and just start shouting "Please someone notice me!!" So hopefully in the next week we will have the destruction of Eorzea, or something like it.

It is currently 9/23 in game at the moment but a day passes by at roughly a rate of 1 day per 2 real hours I would say? Correct me if someone has a better estimate.

1 full moon cycle = 30 hours
