Wow, just wow. I went through several pages pf that thread. I thank you for showing us this so I now know to avoid gamefaq forums like the plague. I've seen some rude idiotic posters in my day but what I just read takes the cake, by far. The only thing I can think of to compare it to is if you were to take a short bus full of particularly aggressive mentally handicapped children and put them in a room to debate the intricacies of national economic stability. I still think they would come up with more informed dialog then what I read in that thread.

People always complain about people being so bad in DF and how they blame everything on everyone else. I think the issue is on both sides, if you plan on using the DF plan on grouping with newer players, maybe even complete idiots and we should be ready to help these people learn the fights and become useful. However if you are one of those newer players and use DF then you better be prepared to deal with people that know the fights and how to play the game, maybe even better than you and you should be open to taking suggestions to improve your performance and not get butt hurt about it.

There's nothing wrong with posting somebody's character page...that's kind of why lodestone exists.

Also, the responses in that thread are asinine. The "I do what I want" attitude doesn't work once you set foot in group content. You have a responsibility to the people you're grouped with as they do to you. Not having regen is a big handicap.
