Gathering bots

I've been seeing entire mobs of bots at my gathering spots, and it's really quite daunting. I mean, it's good that they won't get in the way of my gathering, but they're really taking advantage of their little 'insta-teleport to nearest gathering spot' hack or whatever it is.

Isn't this going to mess our economy up?
I'm curious about what SE plans to do about all of the bots and gil sellers. How would they plan to weed them out aside from player reports on them?

havent seen any in cactuar...are u sure its a hack or just lag?

It's not lag, I've seen other miners with me who have to walk to their next mining point, while at the exact same time, a lot of them just insta teleport. Wouldn't make sense for some of us to walk normally and others just kinda teleport.

I'm surprised that such a hack even exists in an MMO. Isn't stuff supposed to happen server-side?

I've filed at least 6 or 7 reports for bots using a teleport hack. They're easily spotted.

You'll see them disappear, then it looks like they fall from the sky (they appear about 12 feet above ground) near the next node. It's blatant, and looks nothing like lag.
