Ohhh! It does work!
What I did was
/micon "Contagion" pet Garuda-Egi
what I'm previously doing,
/macroicon "Contagion"
Thanks alot for this! Really helped me alot.
I wouldn't do this. Certain fights like Titan Extreme (when you get jailed) you'd want to only use "Aerial Slash" because of the delay with how the rock forms. It'd be a wasted bane cause you can't bane to yourself in that situation, but aerial slash could help do extra DPS to your own gaol.
Usually there's a delay after the last wind blade anyway so it's not usually a dps loss if you separately tap "bane ~ aerial slash" in quick succession. Plus there could be a situation where you bane but aerial slash isn't off CD yet. Then if you want to aerial slash you'd have to risk wasting a bane because of the macro. It's also better if you aerial slash right off the bat so it comes off CD faster for the next group of mobs, like in turn 4, rather than waiting to bane first.
IMO it's better to keep the commands separate for more control.

Wow...how bad is it that I didn't even put two and two together that on Titan fights you can still control your pet even if you are jailed? Great tip - thanks...I need to start thinking a little more creatively.I wouldn't do this. Certain fights like Titan Extreme (when you get jailed) you'd want to only use "Aerial Slash" because of the delay with how the rock forms. It'd be a wasted bane cause you can't bane to yourself in that situation, but aerial slash could help do extra DPS to your own gaol.
You can't control the pet but you can quickly hit aerial slash before you're disabled from using actions, so it hits your own jail too.

I sat there watching your signature for longer than I care to admit - ty =^.^=Try putting Misery's End above Bloodletter in the priority list. It resets the CD for Misery's End so you can use it more often and for multiple mobs it will allow you to save Bloodletter for the next target. If Bloodletter kills the target while Misery's End is up and then you switch targets you lose some DPS.
Pet control is important. This is more a suggestion for GMs to allow different game mechanics
Problem:
Smn / Sch / Arc have a total of 7 different pets. All different, and all have good utility WITH DIFFERENT SKILL NAMES, and not enough bars to set up for all skills. I currently have my skill bars set to Alt+1-4 bound to pet hotbar 7-0. This way I can quickly use a different pet skill in battle as needed.
The problem now is when I change to a different class that doesn't have pets, 4 of my main, easy to hit skills are unusable with this set up, and no way to quickly change things without re-adjusting a chunk of my setting.
Solution:
Can you implement / is there a macro set up that can be usable for all pets.
(ie
<pet skill> 1
<pet skill> 2
<pet skill> 3
<pet skill> 4
)
This way we can put custom macros on our hotbars that are usable for ALL pets.
pls respond... /like if you agree. Lets try and make something happen.

I would like to see a 'drag and drop skills' type macro system
Oddly enough no-one has said this one yet:
/micon "RuinII"
/pac "Obey" <t>
/ac "Ruin II" <t>
That makes your pet to target the target of yours and go all obey on it(does the "main" attack, i.e Wind Blade if you are using garuda). Even if you were on gcd and unable to cast ruin II or the target is out of range, the pet still starta to attack the target. Very useful in Garuda HM/EX to have your pet attack the razor plumes too.
That one can be done like this also:
/micon "Ruin II"
/pac "Wind Blade" <t>
/ac "Ruin II" <t>
That one is more restricted to only garuda egi, thus I prefer to use the Obey version
Pardon me for all typos, but I'm too lazy to go through the text, as I'm on phone.

but rather to prevent HP from reaching 0

I have a question on this related to summoner. I'm very used to Scholar and have awesome macro's with the fairies, especially one I found that makes controlling her a breeze. She follows me everywhere, only does Embrace on her own and I manually control the other abilities. I love it and it's so easy.
However, after over a month of not playing summoner at all, last night I decided to give it a go using Garuda egi. Previously, I had let Garuda just go on auto pilot, and it was ok.
But, I thought it would be better to manually control her. So, I went in to Labryinth (CT) with her. What a disaster. I was using Obey, she would only fly over the poison pools and die. She would not stay near me. So, I tried placing her. Well, she stayed for awhile, then when I started attacking skeletons, she would fly back out into the poison again and die.
Then the next two battles with the Thanatos and King B went perfectly smoothly.
Then at Acheron, I had her on Obey again. That was fine up until when we have to run back on the platform behind the safe wall. Well, I quickly figured out I had to heel her, so she flew back into the safe zone. But, only for about 10 seconds, before she decided to fly back out into the danger zone on her own and ended up dying again by Acheron's super attack.
All in all, it was pretty frustrating for me considering how simple I have it with the fairies on Scholar.
So, is this really the only way to control her is by constantly pressing the Obey, Heel, Steady, etc. buttons? Are there no macros for her that make her behave like my Eos/Selene do?
I play on PC but use a controller. Works perfectly fine with my other classes, including Scholar.
Last night, I was using the pet hotbar for the Obey, Heel, etc. But, if there's no macro, would it be simpler to have those commands on my secondary controller hotbar? Any tips would be geatly appreciated =)

Only real macro I use is swiftcast - resurrection.
Guess swiftcast - shadowflare would work since I use that in my initial opening.
Could set Rouse and Spur together but I prefer to hit Ruin ll, Rouse, Ruin ll, Spur for the extra dps.
