Only real macro I use is swiftcast - resurrection.
Guess swiftcast - shadowflare would work since I use that in my initial opening.
Could set Rouse and Spur together but I prefer to hit Ruin ll, Rouse, Ruin ll, Spur for the extra dps.

Also about pet control, on the poison pools I have my pet always on Standby unless im killing a skelly. On Acheron you pretty much just hit Standby when running to the platform and use Obey to have it kill the giant.
When it comes to the SMN job sometimes its all about the pet control.

Thanks for the reply. In regard to macros, I wasn't really looking for spell macros, but if there were any known/helpful macros for actual pet control. I have one for Scholar, but it didn't work properly for Garuda. Also about pet control, on the poison pools I have my pet always on Standby unless im killing a skelly. I myself don't use macros, but thats cause I learned to do everything manually, since no petmacros in 2.0
But what I've seen people throw in forums:
/micon "Heel" pet
/petaction "Heel"
/petaction "steady"
So when you hit the macro, it would stop garuda from attacking, and make you follow you/come to you.
Nothing else I could think of at this moment.

"Sent on Android device"People need to remember that a healer's job isn't to heal HP
but rather to prevent HP from reaching 0
Have u got any suggestions for Aerial Slash now that it's instant cast?
/micon "virus"
/ac "eye for an eye" <tt>
/ac virus <t>
Easier than scrolling to tank, just a quick double tap and it's on.
I've looked for macros for SMN this form seems to have the best information. That being said SMN don't have to many useful macros. I wouldn't use any "wait" between dots macros as these decrease your dps. Swiftcast can be used before any move depending on the fight, but is most useful before shadow flare and resurrect. The best thing about SMN is there is so much to do everyone has room to improve their skills.

/micon "Bane"
/ac "Bane" <t>
/pac "Aerial Slash" <t>
I've been using this since before the instant cast and it works great... If the pet skill bug that's going on now doesn't hit. This is also one of few macros I'd recommend

As I've seen some people post here, the Bane plus aerial slash. I however do the same for each pet, pairing the pet's AOE with Bane. I just label them as Garuda Bane, Ifrit Bane, Titan Bane.
I think the other macros I use have been mentioned. Swiftcase/Shadowflare, Swiftcase/Resurrection. Eye for Eye/Virus
I have a macro for when you Summon your pet that puts it on Obey once summoned. I use this because I prefer my pet on obey, I know some people don't care either way. Here it is anyways.
/macroicon "Summon"
/recast "Surecast"
/recast "Swiftcast"
/ac "Surecast"
/wait
/ac "Swiftcast"
/wait
/pac "Obey"
/wait 6
/pac "Obey"

Heya =)
The most important point in building macros is to never, EVER, use more than one skill that is on the Global Cooldown (GCD). Else your DPS will go down the train, no matter what you try. That said, there are a few combinations of skills that I find extremely useful:
Summoning Garuda (do this for each one):
I set Titan and Ifrit on "Sic" at the end, because I mainly use them for solo play.Code:/micon "Wind Blade" pet /recast "Swiftcast" /ac "Swiftcast" <me> /ac "Surecast" <me> /wait /ac "Summon" <me> /wait /pac "Obey"
The same idea for Ressurection:
Eye and Virus:Code:/micon "Resurrection" /recast "Swiftcast" /ac "Swiftcast" <me> /ac "Surecast" <me> /wait /ac "Resurrection" <t>
Code:/macroicon "Eye for an Eye" /recast "Virus" /ac "Eye for an Eye" <t> /wait /ac "Virus" <tt>

You have to be VERY careful with this one (Eye for an Eye). I usually need to cast Eye for an eye midfight, when I see the healer being overwhelmed or at the beginning of a fight AFTER the tank engaged the boss/enemies. So, when I need to press this button, "shit is already going down" and mitigation has to come fast. I would not recommend it on Scholar, though.
Swiftcast + Shadowflare is selfexplanatory. I wouldn't "waste" a Surecast on it, though.
Garuda's Bane:
Since Garuda should always be on Obay, Aerial Slash would never get used. This one seems to be the best place to use it.Code:/macroicon "Bane" /merror off /ac "Bane" <t> /pac "Aerial Slash" <t>
And finally my favorite:
I manually set my pet to Guard when I need it. You can do it via another macro, though.Code:/micon "Company Chocobo" mount /merror off /pac "Steady" /mount "Company Chocobo"
