I use this one macro for SCH/SMN/WHM:

    /micon "Raise"
    /ac "Swiftcast" <me>
    /wait 1
    /ac "Resurrection" <mo>
    /ac "Raise" <mo>
    /ac "Resurrection" <t>
    /ac "Raise" <t>

Saves space in the macro book and it doesn't have any drawbacks. Don't have a /p in there but you could say something like /p {Raise}/{Resurrect} {Just used it.} on whichever of these two are dead: <mo> / <t>.

Also do the same thing for Physick/Cure. Otherwise I don't really use macros outside of that Eye for an Eye one. Might find some uses when pet abilities can be macro'd in 2.1.

Not very swift if you have to stand there for 2.5 seconds before casting it.

    To answer the question though...

    /macroicon "Swiftcast"
    /ac "Swiftcast" <me>
    /ac "Resurrection" <t>
    /wait
    /p "Raising <t>"

What this does is create a spammable macro that gets around the usual issues building a delay into the macro itself. When you do something like swiftcast -> wait 1 -> ress, if waiting 1 second between casts isn't long enough for the server to sync back that your first action is done, then your section action following the wait will fail. The benefit of having a spammable macro is you can keep hitting it until all steps execute. With this macro, you start spamming it, and the following happens..

    1. Cast swiftcast
    2. Swiftcast resolves
    3. Cast Resurrection
    4. Resurrection resolves
    5. Stop spamming the button
    6. One second later, announce to the party who you are raising

With the /wait in there, when you are spamming the button, the only time that /p will go through is after you stop hitting it, and you don't stop hitting it until the Resurrection goes out.

So, pick a target, spam the button until ress happens, stop, /p goes out.

I don't know how any good macros for smn yet. I don't even bother with a dot macro because if I have to move it screws up the whole process. I found that out when fighting titan HM. When I had to dodge a landslide or weight of the land it would still try to cast the next spell when I stopped moving. So i just use my Dots one at a time.
My swift cast+resurrection macro sometimes doesn't work.
    I use
    /ac "Swift Cast" <me>
    /wait 1.5
    /ac "Resurrection" <t>
    /p "On your feet N7"
I used to say who I was raising but I was playing mass effect for awhile when I made this macro.
When you do something like swiftcast -> wait 1 -> ress, if waiting 1 second between casts isn't long enough for the server to sync back that your first action is done, then your section action following the wait will fail.
Thank you for explaining why my macros sometimes fail to operate.
I put rouse, spur, and enkindle all on the same macro and I just click it 3 times when I want an aerial blast or inferno.

It wouldn't let me fit the rest of my post so I made a 2nd one.
If I have to use the duty finder I use sch to do wp and ak because I flat out get faster invites as a healer than a DPS and someone mentioned this trick that made a world of difference with my healing. So far we can't hotkey pet commands "but" we can key bind them to whatever button we like. When I play any job I have my fingers rested on keys 1-4 or w,a,s,d for when I have to move. I key bound I think pet command 9 to ` the button next to 1 and whenever I want my fairy to use embrace I just use my pinkie to click that button. I know it's a different job but as SMN I was thinking about key binding pet command <whatever is contagion> to ` so I have a quick way of using contagion. When I play sch it really helped that I can tell my fairy to heal whoever and whenever I want instead of her acting on her AI. Now I can dot while she heals, heal the tank twice, or with some micro heal 2 people at once.

    /ac Swiftcast <me>
    /ac Shadow Flare
    (Don't add <me> or <mo> or <t>, it won't work)

I don't get it, you just put them all in a macro just like that? I tried and it does not work.. i have to put waits in between for them to go off.

Now that we can macro pet actions I have Garuda's AoE move now tied to bane. xP I figure if I'm using Bane I'll want her to use that anyway...

    /micon "Bane"
    /ac "Bane" <t>
    /pac "Aerial Slash" <t>

That's all I got that hasn't been mentioned already.

I wouldn't do this. Certain fights like Titan Extreme (when you get jailed) you'd want to only use "Aerial Slash" because of the delay with how the rock forms. It'd be a wasted bane cause you can't bane to yourself in that situation, but aerial slash could help do extra DPS to your own gaol.

Usually there's a delay after the last wind blade anyway so it's not usually a dps loss if you separately tap "bane ~ aerial slash" in quick succession. Plus there could be a situation where you bane but aerial slash isn't off CD yet. Then if you want to aerial slash you'd have to risk wasting a bane because of the macro. It's also better if you aerial slash right off the bat so it comes off CD faster for the next group of mobs, like in turn 4, rather than waiting to bane first.

IMO it's better to keep the commands separate for more control.

Wow...how bad is it that I didn't even put two and two together that on Titan fights you can still control your pet even if you are jailed? Great tip - thanks...I need to start thinking a little more creatively.
