Today I have turned off the Yell and Shout channels. They are currently unusable as they create continuous fountains of text advertising gold at different rates. The block-listing system is both a little klunky as well as severely limited (31 max).

1) allow block-listing to block the account the user was blocked from after it was put in place - not just the character. These accounts get recreated enough that it is pointless to add to the block list.

2) Work on your tracking filter on chat logs to better identify these accounts (so they can be banned). All you have to do is have an account listening at the major cities, that should provide you enough data to work off of. While you may not be able to stop gold sellers, you can make the spam itself expensive by requiring those users to repurchase a license to play the game
