MNK - Favorite Racial Animations (Female)

Damn, I regret giving my character a female sounding name instead of generic; I didn't expect to be using an item like this. It sounds like all races have downsides.

I love punching the crap out of things on my 2ft tall female Lalafell. I liked playing female Roegadyn during one of the betas for the most part, but the running animations for the larger races is pretty atrocious, female Roegadyn especially. And as mentioned by a previous poster, female midlander Hyur and Elezen are simply too dainty/dopey.

I know this sounds dumb, but when you are a Lalafell, movement seems so much faster because your animation has to be quicker to match that of the larger races (which is why the larger races end up looking slow and stupid). The world also seems much more vast from their height as well. Best suggestion I could make is to start another puglist on another server and just go out and punch/run around for a few minutes to get a feel for all the animations.

Roegadyn and Elv. Females are the least seen on Cactuar by a very large margine. I hate how Miqo'te are said to be the least populous race yet 97/100 characters are miqo'te. I love the body of the Female Highlander but she has awful face settings and her hair clips through just about every armor set. All the hair for that matter is poorly done in my opinion, for all classes. It looks bad and needs retexturing. That leaves me with a Female Midlander. I'd probably play a Roegadyn if I could make her look like Merlwyb.

You can actually make female highlanders look just amazing in the face, seen many beautiful and down right fierce looking highlander fems, plus the run animation isn't stupid looking like a midlander fem. Played my highlander females pugilist to 20 as of now, and I've never had cause to be disappointed in the animations.

Female highlander; between midlander and roegadyn in height, great hairstyles, great voices, pretty faces... down side? People be jelly.

Female Hyur have a really dainty run, so just be aware of that.

I actually see more elves, humans, and roegadyns than kitty people.

You're blind or inobservant. Especially around Balmung. I'm on Balmung. I have yet to see three Midlanders sitting in a bar without a tail between them.

I've seen people roleplaying Hyur... that have tails. But no. That doesn't count. Still a cat.
