MNK - Favorite Racial Animations (Female)

Hello fellow Monks.

In anticipation of acquiring the Fantasia potion, I am sick of playing a female Miqo'te as it is definitely way too overplayed and I do not feel any sort of uniqueness. As my character's name is feminine, I would like to switch my race, but not gender.

The burning question I have is (since YouTube was very unhelpful in this regard): What race is your favorite for female MNK animations? Any insight is helpful, and any videos even moreso.

idk about animations but as a lalafel I feel a sense of pride/uniqueness about my race and its always fun to form a pure lalafel party.

every race has the same combat animations, although some races (lalafell and roegadyn) will hold their weapons differently with certain weapons (i've noticed this for books on lalafells and polearms on roegadyns)

There are no racial combat animations.

However, since the races have different builds, they will still look different when doing the same things... a punch from a male Roegadyn will look heavier than a punch from a female Midlander. Also, of course different races look different in gear. My personal favourite for female monks are Roe and Hyur Highlander. They are tall and muscled, making their attacks look like they have a lot of oompf, but still swift and graceful.

I'm quite surprised that the animations aren't racial. Not a big deal, but definitely not what I expected. Guess it comes down to some personal preference now. Time to mess around with the character creator and see what I like best in AF Leaning towards Hyur.

Female Hyur have a really dainty run, so just be aware of that.

I'm a Male Highlander Hyur (best class for MNK as it has the highest strength) and I hate everything about it.

People have already mentioned that the combat animations are the same (i.e. Bootshine from a Male Highlander will be the same animation as a Bootshine from a Mi'qote) between each classes but Highlanders are particularly ugly. They look like mentally retarded cavemen and their running animation is atrocious: the back, shoulders, head, upper legs (basically 75% of your body) doesn't move. Only your knees and your arms flail a bit while running.

I'm actually going to use that 30-day item to change my Male Hyur Highlander to a Male Mi'qote as I believe they have the best running animations.
