E3 2011 Predictions

I highly doubt we'll see any presence of this game at E3. I would love to be wrong with maybe a PS3 release date with an expansion, and stating all the changes they made to it, but I just don't see it happening.

You all might be right, and they might not show it off, but I feel it would be an opportunity missed if that was the case. Giving Yoshi-P more press time with the american gaming world. Have him talk about what they are planning to do with the game. Show of Chocobos...

I guess what I'm saying with this is, if they have it planned and can show it off, and even say that this is planned for the Summer, fall, winter, then they should show it off...

With the PS3 version sometime in the future, I think it will give people the ability to take a second look at the game after all the current updates, and with the future ones planned.

I personally think it's in SE and the game's best interest to not show anything to the non-playing public until it's actually been added to the game. Sneak previews and hype are all well and good, but not for a game that has a (deserving) reputation for spectacularly failing to live up to the hype. Yoshi just needs to lay back in the buckwheat and work hard on this game. Show it to the press after its fixed, not before.

They don’t even have to show new things. They might simply show some demo on 3 linked screens and in 3D with glasses, the graphics will impress people and they can have some press release, stating all the upcoming changes and fixes.

Hey i'm hopeful with that too , I just personally don't see it happening. You'd also need Yoshi-P up there stating that the game is actually ready to be played (and charged monthly) then as well.

Tomb Raider reboot (lookin' good)

FFXIII-2 ("good" or not, sells like cakes)

FF versus XIII (lookin' good)

Then they'll pretty much die.

And then of course, there's a little thing called Dragon Quest. People seem to forget (because of the little influence they have in the west) that Square was bought by Enix, who was and is majorly successful in Japan.
