Nice, Akumu. I love it so much when people are calling certain games a MASSIVE FAILURE even though those game sold really well. It is often the very same people who, when saying a certain popular MMORPG is a huge succes, refer to sales numbers.

My guess? It won't be at E3.

Ok, so E3 this year is Early June (Starts June 7th I believe) and with the new development team and the planned changes, I'm sure hoping that FFXIV would have a presence at this year's E3.
So with that, what things would you like to see (regarding FFXIV) come out of E3 this year?
My votes are for:
- PS3 Release Date
- Video + gameplay of the latest editions/changes
- PS3 client up and running on the show floor.
- Video of upcoming changes planned for the game
My guess is that by the time E3 is here, we'll be getting patch 1.19 at or the week after E3... I'm guessing they are going to show off the new battle system, the Materia system, job system, and some other features about the game as well.
They will use this time to start generating buzz for the PS3 release, and show off some of the bosses and dungeons that are ether in the game, or about to be in the game.
What are your thoughts?
If they show anything it will be some CGI footage of the PS3 release... don't get your hopes up...
I hope for a ps3 release date. What is really left to fix? They can add more stuff after ps3 launch so the ps3 plauers are not too far behind. It is hard playing this game under a 2hr time limit more so with my 1 year old nephew bugging me as I play, Since I have to play in my kitchen.
FFXII: 92 Metacritic.. Final Fantasy XII sold more than 1,764,000 copies in its first week in Japan, almost equaling the sales of Final Fantasy X in its first week.
FFXIII: 83 Metacritic.. The game sold more than one million copies in North America in its release month. In March 2010, Square Enix stated that Final Fantasy XIII was the fastest-selling title in the franchise's history.By April of the same year, American game sales for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 reached an estimated 800,000 and 500,000 units respectively. As of May 18, 2010, Final Fantasy XIII had shipped 5.5 million copies worldwide.
FFXIV: We all know they messed up so no need post score or info. Which compared to the last 2 you can see why they can't let this game fail.
Since you care so much about reviews.
Whoa Greencactaur just got burnnnnnnnnned

Probably nothing
FFXII also won some very prestigious awards. Any game from the mind of Yasumi Matsuno is gold. He's one of the few great developer/directors around in the industry today.
SE will probably show everything they are working on except for FFXIV.

With the new letter yesterday, and the revelation that 1.18 might not be out until Mid June, I'm thinking XIV might not make the show too... Perhaps TGS this year, but we'll see.
So I'm thinking that we might see XIII-2 and get more information on that game.

Sigh... how many titles can they cram the Roman numeral "XIII" into...
Less rehash, more rethink.
